Description
This is a custom hat for active servicemen and USMC alumni who have spent time in the 3rd Marine Division. Our 3rd Marine Division Hat is a 6-panel black hat with a red bill. Embroidered on the front are the words ‘3rd Marine Division’ and the motto “Fidelity – Honor – Valor”.
The divisions emblem at the center of the cap is scarlet triangular shield. Inside the shield is a gold and black “Caltrap”, which is an ancient military instrument with four metal points so that when three of are on the ground the 4th point is projected upward, impeding the progress of the enemy’s cavalry. In addition, the three visible points of the Caltrap represent the divisions number (3rd). Embroidered along the left side of the hat bill is the title, “U.S. MARINES”.
On the back of the hat is a one-size-fits-all fully adjustable brass buckle closure. This hat is made from durable 100% brushed cotton twill and makes a great hat for any Devil Dogs who have spent time in this division .
